Hi all, new to the s1000rr only had it a few months. I've come from Ducati ownership and it's a nice change. I've the 2012 model and it's a fantastic machine. I mainly use it on track but do the odd ride out now and again. Will no doubt see a few of you at tracks or out on the road around Yorkshire :friendly_wink:

Welcome Andy of Yorkshire!

Congrats on the purchase, may it be super reliable AND quick :)

Willkommen. I also just got off a big twin for my S1KRR (KTM-RC8R). How do you find the difference in riding style?
I'm spending most of my time between 8K and 12K revs which feels like I'm working the engine quite hard. I busted a (valve) shim on another bike recently and wonder if that was bad luck or if I'm too hard on my engines?
