There?s two ?special editions? with limited run paint jobs.
1. Matt Black with white trim
2. Blue White

These are not the 2018 editions.

do you know if these limited editions of the gen3 were offical bmw limited editions , or something a dealer did ?

I believe they commissioned 8Ball to do the paintwork.

BMW UK commissioned them afaik as they were available through more than one dealer.

good info.. thanks guys.. found some info on 8ball facebook that confirms BMW UK commissioned 8ball to do 50 in matt black and 50 in blue hp4 colours

i know someone that has number 8 of 50 in the matt black.. he recently got taken out and pretty much damaged to every panel
currently with the insurance companies to sort out.. but guessing it will be written off due to the lack of replacement panels
