Needing new tyres soon

Hi

Bike went to BMW to have the limiter removed today (2 years late!)
Anyway the tech said i will need new tyres soon as the back has 3mm remaining.
I have the Michelin power RS tyres. They are ok quite grippy but i was wandering are there any recommendations for fast road riding, i intend to do a track school in the future but nothing planned yet.

Liking the Michelin Power 5s but they're definitely road-biased and are probably not sporty enough for track work (beyond amateur)?

i agree with these tyres I've googled and the best price for a pair is ?269 plus fitting from mytyres.co.uk
if anyone knows of a cheaper place let us know.
ill be looking to buy in 2 weeks

I had power 5s on my zx at knockhill and they were terrible, swapped for power cup 2s.... they are definitely not good track tyres..

Try Tyretec, i got the M9rr from them for ?238 delivered a few months back and then fitted locally.

I must add that 3mm is still a lot of tread, at least a thousand miles. If it?s square then that?s a different matter

Power RS are the best road tyres from that 2 CT line, it's a shame Michelin phased them out for the Power 5s.
