Funny this obsession with lean angle (or non lean angle judging by the gauge on those Metzelers), what type of bike would you put Sportec M5's on? I notice the original post is 6 years old!

Jimmy Macs penny farthing?

Haha, mind you remember he's mates with MD now so he might be fitting K1's to that.. :friendly_wink:

Metzeler have the Elephants on all of their tyres i think, i never saw them markings on my M5's before though.

I do manage to get to the edge of the tyre occasionally on the road but not that often, generally it's the Elephants calf muscle :D

easily 5 1/2 to 6 on the road,( elephants calf lol ) what you lot playing at.lol my missis would be a 5 1/2 too and not even using roundabouts.

i think im very lucky living on the welsh border by the sounds of it. mine and the missis first tea stop is at a cafe in a village called crossgates, about 30 miles from home. By the time we get there we have both got out knees down (no roundabouts) the missis more that me. :( very little traffic and lots of fast and slow bends.

nice wear. what pressures do you run in them?

... well when I got home probably about 25psi lol... it was flat the morning after... that tyre was holding the road amazingly well. It lost none of its integrity, even with the wear on it.. I absolutely hammered it home on Sunday and the grip was phenomenal.. I checked before the trip...39psi.. so left it at that... Im a convert to these M7s they are beyond my expectations
