ive now done about 2500 miles on my m7rr's and they seemed to have a slight shoulder on the front. only happened in the last 3 to 400 miles. makes the front feel like it wants to tip too quick. up to now they have been great tyres but feel dangerous now. i ride fast road (60mph :) ) only on this bike and lost confidence in them. there fine up to about 42 degrees but after that it feels like it wants to fold. i generally run to about 5mm from the edge of the tyre but this bump/edge is about 15mm from the edge. anyone had this happen?

Can you load anymore photos up to show a better view?

Shame, I've heard nothing but great reviews about M7RR's
Do you think the shoulder is just squaring off?

i did take more pics but its hard to see. there not squared off. I live on the welsh border and the bike spends as much time on its edge as it dose upright. Its fairly pointed but not overly, its just got shoulders which have appeared really quick. its been going up and down the same roads too. no long straights or motorways near me. as you can see in this pic i use pritty much the whole tyre on most ride outs

never had any tyre ever do this to me and wondered weather anyone had similar issues. they were great to 2000 miles.

I will have a look at mine tomorrow. I'm on my 3rd set and have never had issues.

I'll check mine tomorrow too, 2000m on the front, 1000m on the rear, I don't go mad on the road, 43 deg left with the Mrs on the back yesterday without thinking about it, very happy with the them overall.

Really interested in this. Was just about to put these on mine in prep for a Spain trip, and my first low side in 20 odd years fairly recently has left me a bit sensitive to the front. Maybe Rosso Corsa's instead then...

Can't see anything wrong with my front and never heard of your problem before. Loads of guys use these tyres and I've not heard of this happening. The tyre in the picture has been on most of the season and covered many miles of motorway, dual carriageways, twisties and track.

I'm on my third set and really can't fault them for what they do.

Are we talking road or track? The S21/Rosso 3/SportAttack3's are all comparable alternatives to the M7RR's

You can have a bad tyre from anyone. We don't know how they were stored before fitting, inflation, road surface, usage...etc etc.

I've had a look at my front M7RR now, it's done 2200 miles and apart from a bit of wear hasn't flattened at all and as I mentioned earlier I remain very happy with the handling characteristics, so unless something suddenly changes in the next couple of hundred miles I can't see there being any problems.. I think it's also interesting to see how much mileage it's still got left in it:

looking at the two other pictures posted im a lot harder on my front than these. the outer edge of the cut tread is quite warn on mine at 2500 miles. these other two pictures still have nice sharp edges. interesting. if the two other tyres in the pictures were mine i dont think i would have the issues i have. they both look good.

Yeah, the wear on the edge of your tyre doesn't seem to correlate with the fairly modest 42 deg of lean you mention? 36psi in the front of mine and std suspension settings

lol. no, i normally go over 50 degrees but since 2000 miles its scary to go over about 42 degrees. I was running 33psi and dropped it to 31 psi which helped at the time. maybe i should have run them higher from day one to keep the shape. Im used to running lower pressures due to low pressures on my track bike and never had any issues with other tyres in the past. having said that the last set of pp3's were not great either.lol lesson learnt, higher pressures for the neat set. im going to try the racetec's next.
