4 straps 2 each side and sits over the back seat haven't had it out yet but it seem sturdy like

Have a look at Hepco & Becker , what a fantastic piece of kit it is. I used it for the TT last year with my Kriega tail packs.

it comes with a lot of straps different sizes you just loop and go back to its self. would be easy to disconnect and you can handle it like a bag.
