LOL that's been up for sale a while now.
The pictured article says it cost 50k to build, advert says 100k...The forks etc are special. The bike is worth more broken down for parts than as a whole.

I remember reading about that bike in the online MCN article a while back, was a good read from memory.
Is certainly an impressive photo with a carbon fibre clad SBK spec S1000 in front of a Lambo (Murciellago?)

I had a friend who was a member of the P1 club and he used to see how fast he could go (on a closed road obviously, definitely not the M3 in the wee small hours).
At the time, the Murcielago had a claimed top speed of just over 200mph. Apparently it was quick to 180 but then took ages to get to 200.
Anyhoo, one night he was trying for the double tonne and zipped past some HGVs on the ?not-the-M3?. At which point an unseen Police car pulled out and gave chase.
He was very worried for a couple of seconds until he saw in his rear view mirror the rapidly shrinking image of the copper turning his lights off and pulling back into the slow lane...
