I have got R&G aero crash protectors fitted to my bike, but i would like to replace them with Lightech ones as i think they look nicer.

My question is - my bike came with the R & G ones fitted (no fairing cut type) so do they replace standard bolts with R & G specific ones? If they do will i need the standard ones again for the Lightech protectors. (If you follow what i mean) lol.

Cheers

I had this issue recently. I have R&g Aeros too and wanted to replace them with alpha racing ones.

The R&G bolts replace the oe engine bolts. If the dealer fitted then they should give you the oe bolts. On the rhs where the offset bit is, the R&g kit uses a different spacer also.

However. If the lightech assembly is the same system as the R&g you should be able to swap all the R&g stuff for the lightech stuff and be fine without any oe bits.

Hope that makes sense.
