L.e.d indicators flash rate to fast

Hey, can any 1 point me in the right direction?
Have fitted LEDs indicators to my s1000rr 2011, and the indicators flashed twice as fast..
Fitted r&g resistors to each corner and seem to work at correct speed when ignition is turned on, but once you start the bike, I get the fault code"lights" on dash and flash twice as fast again..
Thinking of taking resistors back off and changing the relay, any 1 know where I can locate it. ?
Went to BMW to see how much it is for them to programme the ecu for led conversion , but they said they can't do it because the indicators are not Bmw original LEDs ..pffft.!!!
Any1 any ideas on the location of indicator relay or the problem with resistors?

Try swapping the wires over. I had the same problem with a 2011 z1000. Turned the wires around and they were fine.

Check the wiring for the resistors, they need to be across the circuit, postitive to neutral, not in line
