Morning gents,

very disappointed at the poor service @ the liverpool docks today prior to disembarking to douglas on the ferry.

Ferry was scheduled to disembark at 19:15, fair enough they emailed and called saying there was a slight delay we can life with that i was impressed with a courtesy call to be honest. so went to docks at approx 21:00 for our new check inn, got thought security and got hold it's not leaving till 03:00, I asked the guy what kind of refreshments they have to offer he said he has a vendor machine with crisps lol after a 400 mile trip I was looking for something a bit better. under no circumstances would they let us leave to get food the staff was very rude.

my rant over lads lol

Newcastle was the same for us arrived at 3 for 5pm sailing to be told AFTER we cleared customs that the boat wasnt even in yet and would leave at 9pm. So there we were all in a line waiting for at least 3 hours then it hammered down... I was raging. I asked one of the dock guys if we could shelter in the drive through customs bit...no sorry. At first i thought he was kidding, anyway I fired up the bike and drove to a sort of shelter under a stairwell well and truly soaked...all the other bikes probably 30 or 40 just sat in the rain getting soaked...all the while im ill and cold. Then after about 40 mins with the rain relentless they let us drive up to the customs bit... disorganised and zero facilities for drinks or food and no cover...shocking. i almost forgot about this as the rest of the holiday was 10 x worse.. they should have facilities for bikes and not leave us out in the elements.

Yeah I wasn't impressed at all. I have never traveled by ferry before, anyone who reads this post and has never traveled by this method before i would highly recommend packing a pack lunch incase this may happen to you.

Apart from that I am very impressed with the Isle of man. went round the track on my bike today was taking it easy and really enjoyed it everyone is very friendly and have met lots of nice people.

Was watching the first qualifier last night at the railyway inn and someone in a r6 binned it lucky he was arite bike i will post some pics.

Hopefully i will be home for the isle of man tt 2018
