In really simple language.....please.

Because I am a man of a certain age and due to go up another year this month, could someone tell me in the most simplistic terms, how to post pictures on here and to finally give myself an avatar?
For the life of me, I just can?t work out how to do any of it. It is an age thing I know!
My phone is an IPhone 6 and I?m now a full member. I think I should be able to do this if someone spells it out nice and slow.
Am I correct in thinking as I?m now a member, I don?t need to use a hosting thing?
I?m longing to put some pictures up of how I repaired my fairing.

Now while everyone thinks about that, I think it?s time to go and change my in continuance pants!

Yes, as a premier member you can upload photos directly to the site.
The easiest way to do this and IMO to interact with the forum in general, is via the app ?Tapatalk? (see attached link).

Once you log in to the forum on the app, navigate to any thread you like and when you want to reply, select the big curved arrow at the bottom right of the screen, which allows you to reply or create a new post.
From there, select the icon from figure 1, which will bring up your camera roll. Just select the photo(s) you like and finally hit ?reply? or ?post? and all should be well.

To add an avatar or profile photo, navigate to the forum from a web browser on your computer and follow the steps below.

1. Select ?My Profile? in the top right corner of the home screen.

2. Select ?Forum Actions? then ?edit profile?.

3. Select ?edit avatar? on the left side of the screen.

4. Select ?use custom avatar?

5. Select ?option 2 - upload image from your computer?

6. Select ?choose file?

7. Save changes.

I already have a couple of stickers like that. Had one on my Yamaha FZR EXUP and look what happened to that!
To be honest I?m still trying to decipher the instructions Oli and Ryan kindly gave me the other day
Hopefully I?ll get it done once I figure it all out.

Easiest way I found is put tapatalk on your phone, think Soof sent you the link... if you do you'll never look back, best for pretty much every angle on here..and without doubt posting pics...

So this is what you do...

1. Go into My Profile
2. Tap Avatar part (stuartb(in my case my HP4)) next to my name
3. That brings up Camera, Gallery or Remove
4. Add something from your pics or take a photo...

Very easy to follow...

Still daren?t actually click on anything for fear of losing this great forum. I assume I ?get? the app in question? But how do I log on to the site through the app?
Another thing! I assume I have to do the avatar through my laptop?
Trouble there is that all my BMW pictures are on my phone and I don?t know how to move them over.
My friends usually do all this technical stuff for me but obviously not able to do any of this for me now due to this bloody virus.

Go to the app store for apps, search for TAPATALK, download it..then when its loaded on your phone search for this forum.

Everything thereafter can be done on your phone..I just explained this in my previous post...arghhhh..

Download Tapatalk and you'll see how easy it is.. you log in to our forum with your usual log in details

Thick as two short planks me when it comes to computers, laptops and mobile phones.

Well thanks to Stuart I?m now on Tapatalk.
This is just a try out and my way of thanking Stuart for his patience in talking me through it all. Still not sure if I?m doing it correctly and definitely don?t know how to post pictures yet. Hope to soon though.
