...and then you have to fit the bellypan. Ilmberger know that we S1000RR owners are super-intelligent, so they don't provide instructions and the fittings look like they've come off of a Vespa... Enjoy.

Its a belly pan how hard can it be to fit? Especially considering it uses the original fixing holes.

Anyway got me bits ordered up and i dropped bs motorsports a cheeky message on ebay to ask if they could do a bit of discount and they came back with 10% off which basically got me a free rear hugger near enough so chuffed to bits.

How hard can it be to fit :) It's trickier than you think. I look forward to your next forum post "How do you fit an Ilmberger Bellypan"...

I didnt even get a fitting kit with mine. Had to make a couple of brackets myself :/

I've had the ilmbgerger road and race bellypan, no mounting brackets needed, and it used the same holes as the OEM, took literally 5 minutes to fit the long bellypan.

Ah well guess i will have to wait and see and either fit it ok or struggle and make it fit but either way it will go on the bike

Ditto, my long road bellypan bolted straight up :)

Well i got all me bits on and they seemed to fit on fine, bellypan was a little fiddly but just needed the 2 brackets at the back but worked them out easy enough but one is going to need a bit of modding cause the bellypan is touching the brake pedal.
