Hugger

I’m after some advise on a hugger please. I’ve just got a 2013 S1K and the standard hugger is about as much use as a chocolate tea pot. It has a hole in the middle– and I think its because of the box sticking down under the seat unit. I thinkthis is the ABS unit?
Questions:-
1) Can I fit a hugger without the hole, would it bottom out? I don’t carry a pillion and am only a light weight. (85 Kg fully kitted)
2) Anyone got an after market one fitted that they would recommend? I want one that is slightly longer than the standard one so gives the under seat area a bit more protection. Pictures?

Just got this reply form Ilmberger Carbonparts:-
(Bear in mind he’s German!) “If your bike has ABS we strongly recommend to use the rear hugger with the hole. Using the rear hugger without hole is too dangerous that the ABS-cover will hit the rear hugger while cushioning.”
