I've noticed this on my 22 and now my 24 RR. When pulling away, even on the flat, it takes more revs than I would expect to pull away smoothly. I didn't get this on my 13 RR, so I'm wondering if it's because the hill start is holding the bike?

Is the H on when you experience this? It will hold and make sure you're definitely meaning to move before releasing. Only have to press the brake release it manually...and compare back to back.

My 2020 is sharper then my '15 was to the point of making sure I don't stall.... Hill start as stated above is 1 of 2 ways, extra revs pulling away which will disconnect or depress front brake lever briefly to disconnect . Has it's good and bad points....
