Hi Soofsayer. Its currently completely standard (untouched) in Motorad colours.
Will be putting in a full system at some point but need to save up some cash first.
Welcome to the forum Travers and congratulations on your new RR!
+1 on the mod suggestions.
Crash protection, radiator and oil cooler guards and a suspension setup is a great place to start.
When you fit a full system, make sure to budget for a fuel module and some dyno time.
Enjoy the forum, there is a wonderful community on here and loads of information.
Fingers crossed the weather improves soon so you can put some more miles onboard your new steed [emoji4]
Oli
PCV being the fuel module of choice id assume?
I've been having a look at some of the builds you lot have done and picking up some useful pointers already.
With a older bike out of warranty you can go for a full ECU flash. I'd recommend talking to HM Racing when you're down there and going with their recommendations as A) it means your tuner is local and B) you'll have confidence that they are using a product they are willing to put their faith/experience in.
List of mods for your year ... I don’t have enough fingers to type them out but one sure thing , forget most of them as they truly not needed or add that much to Performance so stick at safety and looking great mods.
1/ suspension first ... ur bike should be UR bike and starting with correct suspension settings is a must to gain the best from ur machine.
2/brakes ... upgrade ur pads to brembo Sc ... since using these I tell everyone I rate them that much
3/ crash protection... u may not be the one to cause it but u can guarantee u will fair worse ( unless u at a circuit ) lad on here had car drive into his front fairing stationary at an island. If he didn’t have protection he may well of lost a leg
4/ big flow exhaust , air filter and ecu flash, pcv or bazzaz with an auto tune. To get the most u need it tuned correctly.
5/ ventureguard or similar ... u got a nice paint job protect it from stone chips etc.
6/ rearsets ... if ur not comfortable it’s probably down to the rearsets and / or bars. My 2014 has both changed yet my 2017 runs stock bars and stock floor boards. It’s what works for you as comfort isn’t something u think about at 50 degrees lean but should.
7/ ahhh forgot ...bar ends ... not sure of the vibes level on ur year but if they there then GixxerChuck is the man to talk to and can supply u a set that most on here can confirm work including myself.
8/ tyres... by time U reach here ur tyres going to be needed to be changed , why not go for better ( if u don’t have the best FOR YOU already) the better the tyre sticks the lower u can go.
9/ screen .... it protects as well as can change the entire look of a bike. U can get the double bubble which gives extra wind protection or Mra race screens which similar to oem but lighter and look cool [emoji41] imo
10/ levers and tail tidy ... tart her up
If u taking her to a circuit then there various things u need to ‘alter’ to be ‘track ready’ , but that depends on what circuit and in what category ... there are ‘track days’ which are open to road bikes. U probably know this already lol
