I collected the additional parts from BMW to complete the install of my Hepco & Becker Sportrack, I have to say it fits really well and feels well secure. I've had a test fit of my Kriega US20 and it was effortless and feels so much more secure using the pillion seat.

Here is a picture:

It's not cheap, but it works out about the same price as buying a new pillion seat so in that respect, it made sense........

They are ?110 as there is 15% off at the uk distributor I ordered one last week for my new bike.

Looks good and perfect for carrying luggage and not fooking the plastics.

Sportevo ... Did you just switch the key barrel from your seat hump over or get a second one?

I paid ?130 for mine as I bought it before the discount !! I was about an additional ?60 for the lock bracket and barrel from BMW. You can't swap the part over from the seat cowl (but you can from a pillion seat) as the bracket is not removable from the cowl.

The way I have done it means that I can just remove the seat cowl and fit the sportrack without having to swap any additional hardware - really impressed with it.

I currently have a Kriega US20 and US10 and plan to use both when I go to the IoM TT, although the Sportrack will take a large roll bag with ease........might look into that option as well.

Cheers I thought that as the cowl seems to have the bracket glued on .... was not sure what came with the rack as still waiting for mine to arrive. Will get a lock bracket and barrel ordered :)

Here are the part numbers you will need:

52538549430 (Lock Bracket)
51257681200 (Lock Barrel)

The guys at Motorrad set the tumblers up on the new lock to suit my existing key and wrapped it in insulating tape to hold it together until I was ready to fit it.....

Ordered at ?110 delivered , anyone want to buy a brand new pillion pad minus the hardware

You have done exactly what I intend to do.
I plan to attach my Kriega US 20 + US 10 for my trip to Assen in June.
So this has helped me loads, thank you
I have ordered for the ?110 too.

PS is that the Arrow exhaust I see peeking out at the bottom of the pic?
