Hi. I have a project car that I am intending to fit a bmw s1000rr engine into. I was lucky enough to to get a couple of complete engines off a job recently, and that got the ball rolling.
I have a quaife bike engines car transaxle.
Any advice on fitting these into a car, with all the associated electrical gremlins, would be appreciated.
Is there a good standalone ecu?
I have all the wiring etc, but it's the tilt and wheelie sensors that could give me trouble.
All going to be a fun project!

Welcome along Phil, what's the base of the car? Caterfield? Tiger? Something more exotic?

TBH, I've note seen much talk of Standalone ECU's. Most just use a Fueling Piggyback or get the stock ECU flashed. A flash could erase the wheelie and tilt sensing surely?
