test rode it today wow. what a bike the quick shifter is smoother than actually using clutch. and new bike will be here mid march rwb rr sport with dtc

Welcome mate :unconscious: Yep I've sold the K8 1000 for the new RR Sport with Rider Modes Pro and HP4 wheels. Picking the bike up week Sat.

I had a tweaked k8 thou and got a 2010 rr with akra etc last summer. the gixxer had more "grunt" but the BM is probably better everywhere else; not that the gixxer was bad (probably wouldn't have changed it apart from some thieving scumbag). BM needs another 1000 rpm to deliver the same shove; just leave it 1 gear lower. fuel consumption is noticably worse though - so touring range isn't as good. but got to say scumbag probably did me a favour!
