Just bought a 2013 S1000RR in red. 800miles on the clock and at least an inch of unused chicken strip each side on the rear! Why do people buy a bike like this then not ride it?
Anyway, here's my biking history over the last 25 years:
Various track days through the years, mainly Brands, Mallorym Silverstone.
All my previous bikes were upgraded with the obvious bits we all do with the gixxer thou having been fettled a bit by Steve Jordan in Leatherhead.
My new S1000RR came with various extras the previous owner had already applied:
Has been all done rather tastefully and these are pretty much all the bits I would have added over a period of time anyway. Probably would have chosen Akrapovic or Austen Racing over Two Brothers, as not really come across that before but looks good. It still sounds a bit on the quiet side to my previous bikes but I quite like it. I think to de-cat it will make it too loud from what I've read.
Anyway, Hello All !
