Hello all,

Whilst swapping over the yokes on my bike, from 2010 to 2012 to change the offset and trail, I found some damage to the bearing seats.

When the wheels was out, the movement felt fine, smooth no play at all.

When I took the forks out, so only the yokes remained, they turned like a ratchet. The weight of the forks had obviously damped this out.

This will go a long way to explaining why I found it really reluctant to turn in.

Anyway, new set ordered, just thought I'd let you all know to check them if you're having turn in issues!

Aha! There you go.

How many miles on the bike; my old ones looked nothing like that with 5k miles on it?

Hiya. About 13.5k

New seats and bearings are in now and feel much better. Just waiting for fairings now to test it out.

Oh by the way, if anyone's interested, the 2012 yokes do slot straight in to the 2010-2011 bike.

When you stand the two sets next to each other, there's quite a bit of difference, not least about 4mm offset.

Cheers,

Phooey.
