Hi Vince1100, They have replaced the cables twice first with a brand new complete unit and then one off a working bike just in case there was a dodgy batch, they have even tried disconnecting them so there is no pressure on the servo but are still getting the same servo fault. They recon they have changed all sensors only thing they havent done is the ecu.

Hi Vince I?ve just had a phone call from bmw and they told me they have ordered an ecu but that will take 3 to 4 weeks or they have just got a delivery in and I can have one of them REALLY REALLY hard decision? Get a working problem free bike next week or wait to fix broken one in a month if the ecu fixes the problem!!?

Its a no brainer they have to remove all my parts and fit to new bike, transfer private plate and then amour wrap it. I?m hoping to get it by the end of next week but I will keep on hounding them and hopefully get it earlier.

If you've had your panels done already - just transfer them from one bike to the other.

Hi Vince, yes a call from my dealer they are giving me someone elses bike whos not due to collect until May time just cos they want me to basically go away. Your problems on the bike are exactly the same as mine every 2 to 4 ignition key cycles EML comes back. They have tried to say its something I done but l knew it was crap. Hopefully they look into giving you a new bike. And trust me I know how exactly you are feeling just make sure bmw Know all about it.

Already said that to them but everything needs to be changed including headlights and mirrors which are wrapped also bike has been datataged so wont that be a problem with the panels being swapped

Problem free bike every day of the week....

That's if it is problem free, this latest batch of bikes seem to have more electrical issues. Perhaps when BMW decided to double production due to the backlog, staff started cutting corners, rushing and in the process missing certain checks?

Just keep going at them and bmw UK, my dealer just wants me gone as I?m costing them a fortune.

Currently my bike looks like this, just got back from my dealer and I will have my replacement Wednesday.

Just had delivery of my replacement bike, hopefully this one last longer then a week.

Only problem I have now is everything I?ve bought for my bike is on my old bike. And will be swopped over when we come out of lockdown.
