Hi Mark from Guildford here. Just bought a track-going 2010 model. Haven't ridden it yet, but can't wait. And my god aren't spares expensive/over-priced! Even brake pads are ?100!

Looking forward to browsing the forum to get good advice and ideas and to buy the odd bargain. I'm after a set of wets on wheels to start with...

Hi Mark, welcome, yes they aren't cheap, but you get quality.

Have a word with HM Racing re: Bendix pads for track work. Though Z04 Brembo's are what many swear by and they are 3x the price!!!

Thanks Alex, I've been using Bendix on my R6 for several years. They last well and have great stopping power and consistent performance. I'll look up the Brembos though and see what they're like too.

Thanks for the welcome Oli. My road bike is Triumph Tiger 1050, but it is largely a commuter. I've just booked Silverstone on the 15th with FE. So that will be my first time on it. Then on the 19th it gets crated up for Slovakiaring on the 23rd with Tracksense. So I hope the bike is in good running order with no surprises! Anyone coming on either of those?
