Bought a 3KW Bohmer last night, and then decided I wanted one of these way quiter ones. Union Mart refunded me my money ?367 this morning as I wanted to buy one of these 2kw jobs but really quiet.

Jumped on to their own website to order the above to find out it's ?333.00 ! and NOT ?399 as advertised on EB... and with the... shop5.... 5% discount brought it down to ?316.00 !... no postage costs. So unless they've made a mistake or the 60 odd quid difference is the EB cut I don't know !

But thats a fantastic deal for a whisper quiet one

I have this one Bohmer i2500W but I've never used it so dont know how noisy/quiet it is. are you saying one above is even more quieter ?

Machine Mart are selling a VERY similar looking generator to the i2500 for a few pounds less.(the claim a bit less output but they look identical)

Easier taking it back to a shop if it goes wrong within the warrenty period.

Mine sounds pretty quiet BBB, whisper quiet as I suspected is an exaggeration, but it's very quiet compared to others, your one I've heard and it's pretty quiet, the lad I spoke too just bought his and was very pleased with it...so think it is a good purchase on your part, I'm very happy with mine.

I did think about a return..hmmmm, however they do seem to have a good back up structure, we'll see if I get my burst panel replaced...
