Fixing broken faring plastic lug

If you like me struggled with decent fixing agent to fix a broken faring tab or lug, (in my case the whole front faring lug snapped off on my 15 plate RR) .. I couldn't believe it, turned out the moulding had a casting lip which was stuck in the plastic holding, to be fair I had no choice but to pry it out and it snapped. Anyway after a failed attempt with a two part bond I bought plastex online which enables you to make your own plastic parts or use as a binding agent. I didn't take pictures throughout but I filled the hollow of the main faring tab until it was solid, and then glued it back to the faring. A quick smooth over and a dab of paint and done, very quick. This stuff is crazy strong.. Highly recommended.
