Do S1000rr Gen 1 forks fit Gen 2?

afternoon All,

Can someone confirm if the S1000rr GEN 1 forks fit my Gen 2 s1000rr.
I'm aware the internals are different (valving only) just cant find anything to say if they have the same travel / overall length / diameter,
Only reason i ask is i need new forks as mine are bent and i can only find a pair of Gen 1's.

If its a yes i plan to put a set of KTech internals in them to over come the differences.

Yes they will fit just fine.... the valving is slightly different between gen 1 and 2 but barely noticeable.

K-tech internals would be a big upgrade... I've got DDS internals in mine and love the results
