Hi All

Sorry if this is the wrong category to post this.

Got a brand new 2017 few days back.

Did not have the frame sliders / engine cover protectors.

As I left the parking area and leaned over to the right, gave a little bit of throttle.

Rear tyre , which was brand new , spun and lost traction. Had a fall on right side.

Attaching pics of the broken casing.

As soon as a fell , I hit the engine kill switch .

Some oil came off the broken casing.

What could be the extent of damage ?

I was hardly at 7 to 9 mph when the rear wheel lost traction.

Engine Casing

You will most likely only need to replace the engine casing, check the oil level, and nothing more.

+1 on what Ryan says, I suspect all is fine aside from the cracked case.
Am sorry to hear of your off and the damage caused, hopefully the repairs will be completed soon and you?ll be enjoying your new steed again very soon indeed!

Could you please introduce yourself in the ?Welcome Area?, as per forum rules.
Many thanks,

Oli

Some top advice here, hope it's put your mind at ease. Sorry to hear of your incident, never good when a bike drops.

Best of luck
