How's everyone else feeling........I'm bored out my mind, my bikes just sitting up on the stand doing diddly squat. It was freezing today......

Yep, bloody freezing this morning watching one of my boys playing footie in Nottingham for an hour and a half, he was warmer than I was after the game! Got round to whipping the fairing off the S1K this afternoon and giving things a bit a clean, tempted to go out on the GSA tomorrow but its bloody 1degC so will probably end up pottering about and watching a game on TV..

Hehe. That's why I have a gsa mate. Ride it all year, did a 4 hour run out yesterday and although it was cold I was fine with heated grips (hot ones lol), big screen and fairings. Rode over to Whitby, had fish and chips for lunch at the best chippie in the town (it's on the east coast, legend has it Dracula came ashore there), bought some dressed crab from a great fishmonger I always use, and having it with linguine and chillies for supper later :).

The other bike was last ridden in September at the BMW Donny trackday. It rests on its stands waiting for the good weather. I was sorting my garage out today and had to move the HP4 outside. Got a little bit of drizzle on it. I got quite distressed lol;). If that was my only bike I'd be seriously bored by now.

Go get something for all year riding :).

I cleaned it, fitted the engine protection and ran it up to temp then put it away again. The r1 i did the same plus i took off the rear res and replaced it with some furgon tubing. Still trying to source a masterlink for my black and gold ek 3d chain. Ive had 3 sent from usa and nothing has made it here. Had i guy on fb tell me he can get me one as he supplies ek in the country but today im told he cant get it now.
Cleaned the st2 as i was really bored and went over to a dyno company as i want it re mapped.

The great thing about your part of the world is that the roads are often long and sweeping with few towns etc en route to slow you down. That's good mileage, I'm up to 13k from new July 2013, pathetic by comparison lol.

I feel for you Stuart, yesterday I was thinking how Malic would be in the same boat after his latest stay in Hospital, although riding his HP4 is maybe a step too far I managed to convince the youngster that what he needed was a pillion ride with yours truly, all be it my broken foot might affect our braking ability, lol.
Managed to unplug the young Frankenstein from his monitors, drips and sensors and hike him onto the back of my trusty GSA and headed to the bridges for a cuppa and a roll.
Had a good laugh and managed to witness what was probably the best looking bum cheeks in the whole of the Lothians, I almost burned Davy with hot coffee and a lovely egg and bacon roll after he told me he had been watching it for about ten minutes without telling me.
On the way back we saw a fully battenburged Pan European with cameras fitted, big aerial mast and what appears to be a cop riding along the road. I recognised it as being a fud who pretends to be a cop so kicked up some stoor on him when we passed him.
Managed to prise Davy off the back after a touch of off-roading and we were both back in time for the afternoons snooker on the telly.
By the way I thought my recent operation scars were bigger than expected but Davy looks like he's been fighting with Jaws whilst the shark was eating a chainsaw, genuinely thought it was a map of the London Underground, respect.

As Soof says get a winter bike and live a little.

A wee picture of the care in the community day out.

IMG_1892.jpgI wont go out until the frost has gone from my garden as most of the roads I ride on are not salted.
Yes, I have been bored over the last week or so, fitted a new rear tyre to my Tiger and found the rear caliper to be seized, had fun trying to sort that. Spring is just around the corner.

Hopefully that's the last of the NHS chopping me to pieces. Off work for a bit so bored out my tits most days. Great to get out of the house. Yeah the buns were very nice, then she turned round. Text book midnight princess. The HP4 keeps calling from the garage. People keep telling me women dig scars! Just waiting for Megan Fox to kick my door down. :wink-new:

That's good to hear fella and when she's finished with you (Stuart says it won't take long but I'm not sure how he knows) send her over my way to get sorted ;).

It's Megan Fox I doubt I'll last the time it takes to get the boxers off. I don't think I'll let her leave though. When I get bored you'll be the first to know when to pick her up.

I must be getting old Davy, I had to google Megan Fox. Very pretty.
Never heard the term "Midnight Princess" before made me laugh, in Methil we would say a "Ten Pinter".
