Bodywork protection

Hi, I have Blaze Panniers for my 2014 RR but I need some kind of body work protection as the strap can rub on the bodywork around the rear seat.

Can anyone suggest a suitable material or product that can help? I have previously tried the Oxford Blanket (sticky web material) but this wore through too quickly.

I used gaffer tape. Tuff stuff and it left no marks while I was away for 2 weeks. [emoji1305]
