Hi All

For the past 18 years ive never been near a Dealer for a service.
I have always used specialist or my trusted mechanic.
However I notice flashy lights in my dash reminding me the beemer wants to go see its friends.
Thing is I don't fancy over £200 for an oil and filter change.
is there a way to get the reminder reset after she has been caressed by a man without a bmw badge on his shirt ???

If your near Stevenage my mate runs a independent bike shop and has all the computer stuff BMW have to plug into BM's and reset diagnose and fix problems.

i think the easiest way and the way I explain it to BMW customers is you don't buy and £1000+ apple computer and take it to Fred in the shed on the high street if it brakes or what not so why do the same on a £10,000 purchase?

plus BMW have the luxury of GOODWILL if you have a good long standing history with the brand!!!!

just been quoted £240 for oil and filter change and service (6000mile) shit happens :/
