Just changed from m7rr to Rossi 3 , only done a couple hundred mile, but have to say preferred the m7 , the Rossi seem to fall off more in corners if you know what I mean, and tho I know chicken strips is nonsense, I can't get rid of the last 10 mm on the Rossi, on 200 mm rear

'safety strips'

Gray, out of interest, what lean angle is leaving 10mm 'safety strips' on your rear?

Cheers Soof, Margot Robbie for me - so would she be the Rosso3's in your analogy? ;)

Good point, you don't want to be wasting time wrapping in a blanket to get the temp up, cheers Soof

Ill second the 200 thing. The profile on my rear 200 is very much rounder than a 190.. I was doing everything my mates were at knockhill and their 190s were worn right to the edge...Soof OFTEN slags me off for it.. so there Andrew ! That last 10.mil is a hard one to scuff..[emoji3]

Edit: mates riding... R1..Gixxer thou and poundstretcher was on his 10r all 190s.. tomorrow Ill lose them en-route to Oban. If it stays dry that is.. 10 mil or not [emoji3]

OI Stu! You cheeky barsteward. I merely pointed out in a gentlemanly fashion that the unused treaded parts of your rear tyre were similar in width to the ones on my son's bicycle tyres, he is still using stabilisers. lol...

Pop up a pic after tomorrow's run :).

Great blast up to Oban via the Welly... millions of bikes out. Cold earlier but turned lovely around 10ish.. nice and sunny.. roads were in good nick but lots of wet patches, autumn is definately kicking in. Arrived at the Welly to be greeted by a real cheeky... "oi ya big baldy *******".. as Jimmy Mac pulled in on his GS.. lol. So was good to see him, he promised to jump on the forum later.
There was a classic car thing on in Oban.. some end of season shellfish and probably our last good blast till spring made for a great day out...now wheres that 3M.....

Those MK3 Cortinas a very rare on the road now, not seen a beige one with brown vinyl roof since I was a kid - still looks as bad now as it did then!

Superb pics Stu. The condition of those cars are amazing. Great that you got a blast, it poured here all morning.
