Arrow end can fitment problem

Advice needed.
I bought a Arrow end can for my 2017 rr, it turned up today from Italy. I tried to fit it today but the larger opening on the cat is to small for the end can so in the instructions it says use the aluminum sleeve suppled. When i tighten up the clamp there is exhaust gas escaping, I've tried repositioning the clamp but i cant stop the small puffing from the joint, i m thinking how can a clamp, tighten and compress a solid aluminum spacer? am i doing something wrong?

You will probably find that the system is gas tight when at running temperature, but will leak when cold. Mine does on my '15.

May of found a cure, a engineer friend said the slit in the alloy sleeve is to small stopping compression so he will make the slit bigger. Fingers crossed.

or exhaust paste might help. my gen 4 had as standard.

Sorted the alloy sleeve was not compressing enough so a engineer friend made the slit slightly wider to make it clamp.
