APE Manual Camchain Tensioner

Hi chaps,

Anyone fitted one of these? Just wondering if it's a smart move or not ? Have a slight engine rattle especially around 4-5000 rpm. I'm thinking this at be the cause.

Bikes done 7500 miles (2014 model)

Thoughts please?

I've looked on YouTube about this and the guy starts the bike and you can hear a slight rattle for a second or two then it stops.
If you can hear the brief rattle on startup then you need to adjust your camchain.
Not sure about a rattle at 4-5000 rpm though

Yeah I saw that to although I'm sure it would take a minute to get round , as the standard tensioner is oil pressured anyway ? I'll check on Monday anyway cheers

I've got one fitted to my 600rr, no problem with it Ben fitted years now

Just tried listening to the cam chain on start up, but it sounds fine .
Back to the drawing board I guess ��
