330 miles loop of Scotland Sunday 14th August

Took a friend out today on his R1 who hasn't been out all year due to work commitments, did 330 miles in a big loop from Fife , Tyndrum, Fort William, Aviemore, Granton on Spey, Tomintoul, Braemar, Lecht, then Blairgowrie back to Fife.

It is my all time favourite route and it really makes you glad to be alive.

Soof, I knew it was a special day around 4pm at Braemar, whilst I was riding I couldn't remember what day of the week it was, totally stress free for the first time in ages. Meant to get great weather for the next 2 weeks.
