Morning,
Does anyone have a copy of the 2015+ BMW 2D datalogging software that I could grab off you please? It doesn't seem to be available for download from the 2D website. I'm still troubleshooting TC / warning lamp issues and have Jerez this weekend and could really do with knowing that there's no issues with the software which seems to be the old version for gen 1/2 bikes.

I have a gs911 coming today which I'm hoping will help as well.

Thanks, Monners.

1) its on the bmw site not 2D I think.
2) in the usb/logger setup you can change the bike, do you have 2015 listed?
3) There is a software updater under the ? Mark I think.
4) Its not a GS911... won't give you fault codes.

Not able to look at my laptop which has it till tonight...

BMW 2D Datalogging Software

Email BMW HP Race Support and they will be able to send you the software for the HP datalogger.

Thanks guys, @fayban helped me out after I posted, it just needed the model changed in the first screen. You have to set it and then plug the USB stick into the logger on the bike for a few seconds until the blue light starts flashing as normal again.

I think @scooby may have also told me the same thing previously but I was further confused because at the time my front wheel speed sensor was broken and some other electronic issues I was trying to get around.

On the up side I've sorted all my issues and have suspension travel data which has been really useful working out how to setup and ride the BMW. I spent a day working with Michael Laverty and we were able to use it to work through and fix a bunch of things with my riding at Jerez. I got down to 1'56'' which whilst not being anywhere as heroic as the racers in the group in the 1'40''s it was a big progression for me working to understand the bike. I'm going to get stuff wrote up for the record so will post it when I get a chance.

That's what I meant in my post...but wasn't near a PC to demo it.

Glad it worked in the end.

glad you got it sorted, and it certainly helps to see what the bikes actually doing rather than guessing at stuff.
