Hello,
I'm no track god, but I do know my 2010 bike feels reluctant to change direction and does run wide on the power coming out of turns. So without wanting to spend a fortune on bespoke chassis parts, I've decided to fit the 2012 yokes and swing arm pivots to see if it will replicate the better handling on mine.
I've already got the upper and lower yokes and have just ordered the 12 pivot bushes from the main dealer. From what I can tell they move the pivot up from a 1mm lift to a 4 mm lift. Kyle racing do the same at a fair whack more.
As soon as I've swapped them over, I'll post up what differences I can notice, I'll check the shock lengths too and adjust mine to the same as the 2012, I've got the maxton GP10 on it.
Has anyone had the yokes or pivots out before? Just wondering if there's any specialist tools needed. I can see a castellated nut, but I have a tool from a previous bike that fits that one.
Also is there anywhere to download a workshop manu...... (PM?)
Cheers chaps.
