I’m looking to buy my first S1000RR dream bike. It’s a 2014 Gen 2 model with an Akrapovic slip on which still has the cat attached. Does anyone know if the slip-on has a removable baffle? The exhaust doesn’t sound too noisy in the dealers video.

Hello Paul and congratulations on the dream bike.
Going by the pictures there is no baffle in that exhaust or look like one can be fitted. It will never get to loud with the cat still fitted.

The full Akro system is very expensive. Alternatively I see that decat link pipes are available. Does anyone know if dealers would fit them as I’m not very good at that kind of thing. As long they wouldn’t be too noisy! Lol
Yes they should fit them, dealer has fitted them to 2 of my bikes in the past.
