    De-cat with DanMoto link pipe and GPR Silencer.

    Decided like another "forumee" to go with a different type of silencer and bought this GPR Also purchased these Evotech guards which look great.. I'm really pleased with the sound of the pipe and as for the noise while the quickshifter activates... :cool-new: GD

    I've decided to go the de-cat route with my S1K Danmoto link pipe arrived just over a week after ordering from China.. The silencer, from Italy, is still 2 -3 weeks away..?!! GD

    You'll have to explain ECU re-flash and surely you'd have to cut the standard pipe to fit a link pipe ? GD

    First general post so please be gentle :P I'm possibly about to purchase a 2010 S1000RR that still has the standard exhaust fitted. I want to replace it with an Akrapovic system, my questions are, which one and can they be fitted without any further modifications such as power commander...

    Money for the new bike is rapidly approaching (3 months) but it seems 2012 bikes will be just out of my price range, low mileage 2010 or 11 bikes are in my price range, is there something very different that I should watch out for.?

    The Aprilia was an 2004 RSV100R and the most technologically advanced machine I've had.. :( Really looking forward to getting something new again. GD
