    Selling her, unfortunately, signing off

To cut a long story short, plead guilty to 83, they wouldn't accept it at first saying it was either 93 or not guilty. I stuck to my guns and said i was guilty of exceeding 60mph (which was the charge) but honestly belived i was at 83. Eventually they accepted it....... 4 points & £210, happy...

    Selling her, unfortunately, signing off

Cheers mate, did u have a brief? TBH I don't think we were over 90, he did us head on thru a 0.315 mile trap over a mile away using binoculars and a timer, loads of margin for error imo but the brief said the court will accept it as accurate!! Don't really know what to do as know fook all about...

    Selling her, unfortunately, signing off

Don't know yet pal, im hoping for 6 points which will take me to 9. Being self employed I hope they'll have a bit of leniency on the ban issue. The problem is that plod round here just up the stakes year on year, its only going to get worse. I go out at 6am and her still been collared 3 times in...

    Selling her, unfortunately, signing off

It's with deep regret that I am selling my beloved German. Humberside Police have finally won out and are forcing me off the rd due to their huge resources they are throwing at their anti-bike campaign. Got nicked doing 93 in a 60 a few weeks ago and have just been summonsed. Not here to wang on...

    ABS/DTC Light prob

Hi all not posted in quite a while so hope all ok. To try to cut a long story short.... Dropped the wheels today to get new rubber, put them back in and reattached the sensor on the front wheel. Prob now is that the flashing abs/dtc lights won't now go out after I pull away. I've taken it back...

    Check your gear linkage folks

Picked her up from the dealers at the weekend & the gear shift feels the most positive it ever has so am wondering if it's always been a bit loose? Anyhow got her serviced at the same time as was due in 6 weeks & the damage not too bad esp as they had to drill the bolt on the linkage

The guy I do all my riding with has a stock 1198 and it hasn't missed a beat! He keeps taking the piss, cant think why :-x Having said that, nearly all my riding is on the road and have ridden both back to back and the S1000 is still the daddy for me. Havn't ridden the duke on track but for me...

    Check your gear linkage folks

Just been reading your woes dude, i really feel for you esp as its how you earn your living! I reaally didn't expect reliability to be such an issue, although i've had nothing as serious as you. Albeit im glad the shifter didn't come off when i was banging her down the box into a corner, that...

    Road Tyre Pressures??

Play around with it mate, i run K3's 32 F&R on the road but doesn't mean it will be right for you, i ran them both about 36 when i swapped to these tyres but found i preferred them lower. It all depends on how you ride, what your suspension is set at and what type of feel you like. No manual...

    Check your gear linkage folks

Was out at the weekend, pulled away from traffic lights a mile from home tried to click 2nd and the shifter was just flapping about. Pulled in and the bit which links onto the pin coming out of the gearbox had worked its way loose and come off, in doing so it twisted the teeth on the pivot thing...
