    New Bike - Triumph Bonneville

I did the same 3 years back, bought a T120 to go with the RR, I've used the Triumph so much more than the BMW since, it's just easier, more comfy, no need to get dressed in 'Ninja' leathers and all that jazz just jump on and go. Still looking for some decent jeans at sensible money though to...

New bike or can the S1000rr be made comfortable?

Having had my S1000RR for coming up 5 years I don't want to part with it, I wouldn't consider a S1000R as I want something with a fairing otherwise an Aprilia Tuono Factory would be sitting in may garage. If I change it needs to be compact, fully faired, quick enough without needing to be...

New bike or can the S1000rr be made comfortable?

Thanks Alex, I've enquired about a set of Gilles fro sale on this forum, if I can get the rear sets dropped by 3 inches or so that'd work, I don't want the comfort seat as I don't want the bike any taller than it is now

New bike or can the S1000rr be made comfortable?

Core strength isn't the best but not bad, the problem isn't just my wrists, it's back and I find the foot rests too high even though I'm not particularly tall they just give me cramp in my thighs. I just want something more comfortable all round, love the S1000rr it's just that over the last 4...

New bike or can the S1000rr be made comfortable?

I rode a mates GSX-S and not only was it more comfy on the wrists with flat bars but also it felt 'easier' to turn the bike in for me so I'd like to achieve both . My unhealed scaphoid really gives me gyp now and I assume it's the angle and weight on my wrist that causes the problem, I didn't...

New bike or can the S1000rr be made comfortable?

Do the risers just lift the bar height and alter the angle, can the angle be changed so they are totally flat? Do you have any pics of them fitted and how much they've flattened out your bars? Roughy how much longer do the pegs give you again just approximately, are we talking about mm or a...

New bike or can the S1000rr be made comfortable?

As I'm now getting on a bit I'm thinking I would like something a bit less aggressive in terms of riding position but before I take the plunge and change the bike I wondered anyone had fitted any different bars and foot rests to their bike to make it more comfortable. I love everything about my...

    Which levers?

I don't want shorter levers, just adjustable, nicely finished will do me fine. Where is it possible to get a look at the various options available?

    Which levers?

Are there any viable alternatives to the HP levers for my 2011 1000rr? I want long adjustable levers, not interested in Chinese cheap replicas off eBay but something quality, Any suggestions? Thanks

?2-7000 Sporty Touring Commuter - Passenger friendly

I was in the same position as you, I found the Z1000 too big of a lump, the MT while great for you leave a to be desired for the pillion as the seat is poor. My issue was I needed something I could get both feet flat on the floor and I'm not the tallest bloke. If that's not an issue for you...

    New 2016 S1000rr or used HP4?

I would use an HP4 in exactly the same way I use my current bike, I'm a fair weather rider and don't do massive miles so whatever I buy will not end up with hugh miles but a bike is there to be ridden IMO

Recommendations for warm weather riding gear

Interestingly I've got a pair of Draggin jeans and hate them, find them not much cooler than my leather pants due to the kevlar bits and bobs inside, generally uncomfortable both on and off the bikes. I was thinking more of the Air or Mesh style stuff
