Great day at CSS Friday and one weird mishap on the way back!

Yes under warranty and servicing this week so I'll get it looked at then as well as side stand recall work. Main pain was driving in town in 6th to be honest my left arm was made of bronze in the end as I couldn't let go of clutch lever when I had to stop. It doesn't look like I am allowed to...

Gents, Many s1000rr at Silverstone for CSS day. I restarted from scratch and took level one again. Great instruction, great feedback ie "your timing is all wrong!" and some serious progress throughout the day. Weather was awesome and I was quite surprised how impacted my tires were given I am...

    Insurance in London

Hi all, Renewal from BMW Insurance is the size of a small country's GDP. I am in Central London, 10y no claims doesn't seem to stop them asking for a Kidney. Would anyone have suggestions for insurers willing to deal with s1000rr parked in an underground parking (which according to many is...

Re: CSS Saturday July 14th - RG product testing Continental attack I believe... must have been still far too cold even after a few laps - rank weather for sure I think the peg got bent as the bike sort of pivoted on itself - -it was silly low speed really like the beginning of putting gas...

    Alarm issue?

Ok that makes it very clear to me then! No question the dealer will be able to tell me "they all do that" :o I'd rather get it sorted. Shaking the bike is the first thing mother fakers do to test a potential target. Thank you for your comment!

    Tracking systems

Gents Any of you have fitted a tracking device? If yes I would be keen to hear some advice/opinion about what systems are deemed to be the most appropriate. I am leaning towards the tracker one using all 3 possible means of transmission. Thank you!

    Alarm issue?

Right so after finishing those tortuous first 600 miles today I tested the alarm again. It works but I cannot say I am really happy with it. It does take about 30 seconds to arm itself. Not a problem but then it takes a good 20 seconds shaking before kicking in. Not good enough in my view! I'll...

    Alarm issue?

mmmmmmm I tried that and shook the bike as much as I could - nada happening. Weird. I have 2 flashes when arming - not 3 that could indicate that the motion sensor is disarmed. Found this if useful to people: http://www.motorkari.cz/upload/files/manualy/2676_alarm_dwa_6_2008_eng.pdf Look like...

    Alarm issue?

Guys, 510 miles so far running in should be done by tomorrow - cannot wait for the bike to be derestricted to be honest! Now a small issue I am sure: I've got the factory installed alarm. Using the FOB I do see the flashing indicators and hear the beeping sound but once the alarm is on I can...

Pfew! 1st day out and 320 miles in. Followed the advice and headed south - left early - some great roads near winchester! This bike is a joke...Running it in in rain mode its already very good fun! It definitely belongs to the track though now that much is clear... The quickshifter takes some...

Finally here - now for the dumbest question ever... RG covers?

Team, Finally got the bike in fire blue - loverly indeed. Also received a bundle of RG stuff and here's the silly question: how do I fit this for engine covers? I see I need to unscrew the original screws and replace with the longer ones but is that all there is to it? Am I not risking some...
