I agree, this is definitely an issue!!! Dont take no for an answer. The BMW UK technical rep knows it!!!

OK outcome; turns out it was the 2 valves on the standard exhaust. Dealer has replaced the exhaust from header to end can and it seems to be fine now and no more rattling!!!!!!!

By the way, if your taking it to a 3rd dealer go to maidenhead or alton, it may benefit both of us, just a thought!!

I thought it was a bm thing & tried to ignore it however it got progressively worse. However dealer initially said nothing wrong until id recorded earlier for a friend to listen to & after your comments im seriously worried now!

How come?! Does it cause serious issues???

Cam chain tensioner apparently. Could there be any long term issues with this??

Last bike was a GSXR1000 Millenium Edition, I put 20,000m on it in 2 years and loved it. But test road the RR and it felt like riding home a sofa afterwards ha! No brainer !!!
