Hi, frustratingly may not be able to make the 3 day Portimao event in May due to work.
The event is currently sold out so hopefully someone here fancies taking my spot before I offer it back to No Limits for people on their waiting list.
Details are:
Event: Portimao...
Welcome, limited on the advice I can offer I as bought a fully prepared race bike but sure there will someone who can run you through the process.
Happy to share my spec if it helps but maybe overkill as it was built to race.
Cheers for all the advice guys.
I reached out to Abhi from Chasing Tenths who?s going to talk me through his season.
Also have beers next week with a guy who completed both Sprint and Endurance racing with NLR.
Have decided I want to do some endurance racing next year and have lined up a team mate to go in a TAG formation with NLR.
Plan is to do 3-4 races throughout the year due to time contrasts but I'm sure budget will also play a part in this.
So far I have already booked my ACU test (Mar23)...
After upgrading to the Brembo RCS19 Master Cylinder I now have a HP folding brake lever with remote adjuster for sale.
Pics below and I think ?90+postage is a fair price based on what they sell for on eBay.
I?ve just ordered a set for my Gen3. AS3 doing 20% BF deal on all items.
AS3 with hose clips ?68 delivered.
Samco for the same setup was going to ?120+.
Has anyone had any experience with AS3 Silicone hoses?
I'm changing mine over the next few weeks and obviously looked at Samco as the go to option but the AS3 versions are half the price.
Portimao in May with No Limits.
Will look at a few more but hoping to dip my toe into some endurance racing so will see how time and money I can spare.
My honest 2p worth, suspension and brakes are best upgrade before looking for power.
I have a Gen3 with the Race Cal kit which I?m getting Crowe to remap over the winter but I?ve already done the suspension and brakes so sensible next step.
Didn?t get a chance to use my Nigerian bank account :friendly_wink:
I have a HP folding brake lever with remote adjuster surplus to requirement as I?ve just upgraded to an RCS.
Will stick it up on eBay.
So picked up my Gen3 trackbike a couple of months ago and done one trackday for a shakedown.
Being my first Beemers, I?m feeling the bike is little too high for my liking. I?m 5ft6 and struggle to get my foot down comfortably.
wouldn?t normally mess with ride heights but think I do need to...
