Thats a bummer that its not simple, but good that the discs are OK. Have you ruled out a sticking caliper piston?- Flyingscotsman

Hepco and Becker Sportrack
I have a H&B sportrack for my Gen2 & it has same issue with the foam. I used 3M double sided tape to stick it. When I use the H&B to get to trackdays I always take the seat cowl in my luggage. Yes, that is correct. Only sale of new petrol/diesel cars to stop in 2030. Fuel still available and secondhand market. I suspect there will be a rush on buying new petrol/diesel cars in 2028 & 2029.- Flyingscotsman

Dropping sump on Gen 2 with Akra full system?
Has anyone dropped/replaced the sump on a Gen2 with Akra full system? If so can you do it without removing the headers from the engine. It looks like it might be possible to get at the sump just by removing the end can and link pipe. I've got a slight oil weep. Looks like the BMW instant...- Flyingscotsman
