Yea I was going to get the XR but every dealer I've rung has waiting lists until at least october.... Also as the bikes new the monthly payments are quite a bit steeper, I am hoping in a year or two I can get a second hand one for around the same as I'm paying for this 14 plate R with low...

Well mate I'm 19 stone, and my lower back has issues which basically translates into hip pain in my right hip. I'm on a diet to lose weight, but my best mate who rides a fireblade and is bloody good on it made me realise that I should stop trying to be him, and just develop my own riding style...

Well it's time to trade my bike in, I've enjoyed it thoroughly and am super sad to see it go.... really never felt like this about anything I've owned.... I just hope the bike I'm picking up lives up to what I've had before... pickup a 2014 R in a week, time to try a naked.

Ok so I'll basically get straight the chase. I've just come back from a tour of europe on the s1000rr sport. I did 3300 miles... the bike was fantastic. even with luggage.... at no point did I feel the bike made me uncomfortable, however I am 6'2 and ab out 19 stone.... I have 2 compressed discs...

I dont have an HP4 but I do have an s1000RR - yes I think they'll last, just... I get about 4-5k out of mine.. depending on how it's ridden.

is the k1300 footpegs lower than on the s1000rr how does it compare comfort wise ?

Yeah this all parts and Labour... to be honest I can get chain and sprockets for ?150 thats DID heavy Duty Chain N Sprockets. bmw wants to charge me ?200 just for parts...all in, including labour its near ?300 just to do chain n sprocket....

Cheers guys got it sorted under warranty, but typically sods law dictated that when I went to take bike out of garage the back trye which has only been on 3 months was punctured....wat a joke! also needed new front tyre.... So full bill for 2 replacement tyres, and a valet and acf treatment...

I sat on the new RR at the Motorcycle live Show, compared to my 2012 model it was hugely uncomfortable, mainly due to the footpegs being higher I think... I couldn't have one I don't think which made me sad :(
