Thanks, i went to a dealer yesterday but but they couldn't confirm the differences on the 2010-2011 or the 2012 :( is it not worth going for the 2010-2011 as I have found a fair few on much cheaper prices similar prices to the r1 in the same years

Thanks guys! i'll hold out and look for a 2012 onwards then, I saw a couple 2012 earlier but always get worried if it's still the 2011 as they could have registered it later, or it just happens to fall in to the 2012 reg plates. what should I look out for to make sure it's the 2nd gen models?

What changes did they make on the 2nd gen model? I did find the 2009-2010 at 9k

I'm currently looking at 10k and below, that's why I looked at the 2010 r1 as well, so I can get a second bike later on :p
