My independent mechanic fitted mine, fairly simple job for a mechanic to do. Track day I'm not sure if you can get an answer as every track has various DB limits and each bike is different depending on end can and decat pipe.

I have had a pair around 2 years and are fantastic. The wire on one of mine broke a month or so ago when I went to tighten it, sent to Knox for repair and had them back within a week. Only had to pay postage as the wrist system has a lifetime guarantee :)

Dealer only I am afraid, I had to go from KMH to MPH as I bought my bike from the Republic of Ireland, cost me ?60 from the dealer who took over an hour to figure out how to do it! :(
I'm the same with my AR slip on can, it looks fantastic but no difference really at all over standard can. I know de-cat is the ideal solution but it's expensive, I thought the AR can would have made some difference but I don't notice anything over the standard pipe on my 2010 S1000.

There is very little difference in sound as its only a slip on and doesn't decat the bike, definitely nothing to worry about in terms of it being too loud over standard as there is very little if any difference in sound over standard.
Remember this is AR's slip on and not full system, mine is...
