You guys in Scotland will need to break out the skin cream, 17C apparently tomorrow !!!
A little less so in Yorkshire, 12 or 13C they reckon, so I'll be mostly :shadow: later on tomorrow once my desk is cleared :).

Tempting to get the HP4 out of hibernation for the day, roads have been wet so I'm hoping the salt has been largely washed away..... I just don't know if I can be bothered to give it a thorough clean again just for a few hours of riding.

Anyone else planning an impromptu excursion?

17c jesus that's summer weather lol , would love to get out but I will be stuck in work , plus just getting over man flu again , the weathers been close to freezing the last few weeks so there will be a shit tonne of salt down too.......

Roads around here covered in crap, my car that was nice and clean on Sunday now looks like its done a stage through the Welsh Forests, bike staying in the garage!

Took the bike out today. Was warm (ish) but very damp and foggy. But it got me through the gridlock that is the m3 at rush hr. If i can get out once every week or so then i can carry on my tradation of never using an optimizer or ever having to replace a battery

Im bored out my tits... weathers piss poor and were not even half way to start of season 1st April (I use that as a rough guide). On the plus side winter solstice 21st December, lighter nights tee off then...thank ****.

Cheers for the heads up Andy, was determined to do a 3 day week this week but that's just dropped to 2. Foot is throbbing though, idiot joiner decided it was sensible to lay a plank of wood with lots of Brad nails sticking through it under a ladder on a site today. I came down the ladder and put all my weight on my left foot and got 3 nails through the sole of my caterpillar (not safety) boots. Felt them got through the skin and hit the bone........
My own fault for not wearing proper boots on site, but the joiner got a roasting for bad housekeeping.

Waiting for Stuart to offer to kiss it better, lol.

Enjoy your ride.

I had one of the best blasts Ive ever had when I split from my mates at Dingwall as they were heading to Skye and I hammered it down Loch Ness side unhindered earlier this year.... summers Sunday night... light traffic... great viz... A82 .. what a road.

So I got out on the humpa lumpa for a few hours. Roads stayed wet all day despite the breeze and warm temperatures, and loads of crap everywhere so the bike does look like it has done a cross country course. I might even have to wash it as i get dirty just looking at it. Anyway, I stopped for a bit of lunch at a private (open) gardens at Pocklington and took a couple of snaps, not a bad day really.

I winced reading that...you like being on the mend it seems - fix one thing, break another.

I had one of my worst drives coming down the west coast today. Didn't stop raining from uig in Skye, until we reached Dumbarton! Thank God I wasn't on 2 wheels!
Im heading out that way tomorrow. Flew up to inverness today and driving over. Its a tad blowy out there as well

Aye it seems like that Alex, didn't manage a ride out today as I would not be able to change gear, left foot feels like someone has hit it with a sledgehammer from the underside.

Hope its better for my date with Kylie on Friday, lol.
