Trouble with ABS/DTC button

Is there a certain nack to this? i.e have to press it when in or out of gear, riding or stationary? as i keep trying to turn the DTC off but i am getting no responce when pressing the button :chargrined:

I have pressed for a few seconds with ignition on and nothing, with and without engine running and also whilst riding, it was ok when i picked the bike up but last few times i have been on it it is not working, maybe i need to go see BMW

Sounds like this is a common BM problem? My RR is fine (so far), but been having some issues with my F800 switches
