squeaky seat

hi all ive got bike back from dealers now its got a squeaky seat any ideas thanks

you can hear the seat squeaking whilst the bike is running
is the foam wet or something , or have any residue on it ?

hi bob it squeaking around the sides next to the tank. bike came back from dealers saturday i noticed seat squek sunday it sounds like it coming from down near the black plastic trim

If taking it back to the dealer isn't an option, small accurate shots of wd40/gt85 or even silicone spray should tell you what's rubbing together. It's probably your seat tight up to the tank. Mine does that, I just go faster until I can't hear it.

Betcha all you need to do is loosen the bolts holding it on and give it a wiggle back from the tank, then tighten down again. Worth a try.

well its all sorted for now tail tidy. rear sets. leavers. back light. engine covers. rad grills. should be good to go now and the squeak was annoying more than anything.
