I'm in the process of changing chain and sprockets. Just realised the manual does not list torque values for the front and rear sprocket nuts. Can anyone tell what the torque value for the front sprocket nut is please? Also the torque value for the rear sprocket nuts for M Sport carbon wheels. TIA.

Sprocket Torque Values

Front Sprocket Nut: 125 Nm
Rear Sprocket Nuts: 110 Nm (tighten in diagonally opposite sequence)

I initially asked BMW to do it for me. I was quoted ?410 parts ?85 labour. And thats for a chain thats not particularly well thought of. Ordered a set off ebay (hunters) for ?140 which includes JT sprockets (decent) and a heavy duty DID chain. Arranged for a mobile guy to fit the chain at my home. So half the price and don't even need to start the bike. I thought about bitting the bullet and buying a chain tool but this is only the second time in 30 odd years I've changed a chain!

Cheers Rys. So its the same for cast or carbon wheels. Thanks.

It was NOT the same torque for BST Carbon wheels vs Stock BMW Aluminum wheels, regarding OEM BMW Carbon Fiber wheels, i have been unable to get confirmation on this!
